X1696: Were humans meant to eat chili peppers? Why do people love the heat? in Splash Spring 2017 (Apr. 02, 2017)
In this intriguing course, students will learn the history behind the chili pepper and its original uses. We will examine what effect spiciness has on a human being and attempt to answer the question "We were ever meant to eat them?" This will touch upon epigenetics and how a culture can change a biological process.
