Brief Biographical Sketch:

Mr. Brown, is always cold during the winter months because he grew up in the warm sunshine or California. Now he lives in Boston and studies psychology and biology and chemistry and underwater basket weaving. He believes that learning is a lifelong process and you are never too young (or too old) to start absorbing knowledge from the world around you. His favorite candy bar is Twix, cuz its got the crunchy cookie center. He is a morning person (deal with it). Thats pretty much all I'm gonna tell you about him, take his class because if you don't it will make him sad. (and you wouldn't like him when he's sad). Seriously though take his class, because it just might open your mind to the world we all live in. Take my word for it, he's a pretty cool guy, I should know, he's me.

S156: Evolution, what every organism capable of rational thought should know (this means you) in Splash Spring 2011 (Mar. 27, 2011)
What is evolution? Did humans really come from monkeys? Is my little sister a monkey? Why should I care about the theory of evolution? Why do I have a tailbone? Will I grow a tail? Why do guys have nipples? Why do we walk on two feet and not on four like other animals? All of these questions and more will be answered in this class. The theory of evolution has been called, "The greatest idea ever thought", and if you take this class, you will have the opportunity to think that very same thought.
