R1365: The American Obsession With Perfection in Splash Fall 2015 (Nov. 15, 2015)
This class will examine the culture of perfectionism that's been perpetuated in our country for generations. We'll look at philosophers like de Tocqueville and compare their famous theories to modern realities, like plastic surgery and photoshopping. This course will be largely a group discussion and all perspectives are welcomed and encouraged!
