E802: Tower Power in Splash Spring 2013 (Apr. 07, 2013)
Come learn the basic definitions of engineering and technology and try out an engineering challenge! This is a great course to get a taste of what engineering education is for elementary schoolers-- however the challenge is difficult for most adults!

X430: Stumped in Splash Spring 2012 (Apr. 01, 2012)
A man walks into a restaurant and orders a glass of water. The waiter pulls a gun out and points it at the man. The man thanks the waiter and walks out of the restaurant. Why?

X265: Just Taste It in Splash Fall 2011 (Nov. 13, 2011)
Could you recognize an apple based on taste alone? What about a radish, lychee, quince, bacon, jicama, walnut, puff pastry, doughnut, or grapefruit? In this class, students will be challenged to a competitive blind taste test in hopes of identifying different types of foods. We will also discuss the five basic tastes, how taste buds work, and the interaction of taste and other senses (Why you can't taste food when you have a cold!).
