Brief Biographical Sketch:

I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Vermont in 2018 and have been studying for my Master's here at BC since then. Academically and professionally, I'm interested in Irish studies, digital humanities, and American literature. My hobbies include fishing, cooking, playing ice hockey, foraging for wild mushrooms, and writing.

What does food mean to us as a community, and what can it tell us about our cultural backgrounds? When we carry stories to the table, the way we understand ourselves and our cultures is directly related to the food we consume and make. The age-old saying of "you are what you eat" may be a cliché, but there is certainly truth in it.
