Brief Biographical Sketch:

Hey! I'm a 20 year old Australian studying at BC for the Fall semester. Lover of travelling, seeking new experiences, and of course, learning all the sage advice from out brilliant 20th century novelists.

I speak (or try to) German, am a poor surfer (not so Australian here), and a once a upon a time distance runner. BUT i love meeting new people, and most importantly finding ways to live in the most fulfilling way possible.

(Also a big Kanye fan.. I feel this is important to mention!)

R1603: How to live a fulfilling life and see beyond the (..) ft Wilde, Kerouac, Maugham & Thoreau in Splash Fall 2016 (Nov. 13, 2016)
How you ever marvelled at the brilliance of authors in 20th century? How beautifully they see the world around them, how easily they portray the inexhaustible complexities of the human condition. Come along to have an open discussion on how we can take their advice and observations on society, to better help us live a more fulfilling, and perhaps even happier life. But before the class, please consider these words by Oscar Wilde, "Education is a wonderful thing, but it is well to remember that nothing that is worth knowing can be taught". Authors explored: Oscar Wilde, Somerset Maugham, Jack Kerouac (Thoreau.. yes he's 19th century, but too good to ignore)
