Brief Biographical Sketch:

I love history.

I am also fascinated by businesses: how do they work on the most basic level? I was inspired by a course here at BC called Perspectives on Management to learn more about the basics of a successful business. My professors took very complicated business concepts and showed the class their simpler roots.

I was part of a startup company last year that taught me the importance of business fundamentals and further instigated my interest in understanding the workings of business.

I am by no means any kind of expert in business; I am sure many of the students in this class will know more than I do. However, I designed this class as a learning experience for everyone, including myself, by putting together a theoretical company that faces very real business issues. The class will come together and save the company and make it thrive.
