R563: Masculinity: A Dude's Perspective in Splash Spring 2012 (Apr. 01, 2012)
Men and women are welcome to this class as we examine the centuries long battle of the genders from a male perspective. Fun activities and interactive class will engage everyone and breakdown the walls that divide men and women.


X364: Martial Arts as an Art in Splash Fall 2011 (Nov. 13, 2011)
This course will cover a brief history of the martial arts, the varied paths they have taken and the beauty behind them. It will also involve interactive instruction in martial arts, taught by a traditional karate student of over 16 years. We'll go over basic self-defense, simple Judo, Jiu-Jitsu, and a traditional karate (Isshinryu). We'll also discuss the mindset that distinguishes true martial artists from bullies.
