R1344: The (Anti) Hero's Journey in Splash Fall 2015 (Nov. 15, 2015)
This course will cover the archetypal hero and its journey contrasted against the growing popularity of the antihero in today's culture. We will cover various examples of different literary and film characters, from Sherlock Holmes to Harry Potter to analyze this shift. This class will be discussion based.
