Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a sophomore at Boston College hailing from Birmingham, Michigan. I am studying International History and Culture as well as Mandarin Chinese. I'll be abroad in Beijing, China for the fall 2012 semester! I like to play lacrosse, run, cheer on the Pittsburgh Steelers, and my favorite movie is Pride and Prejudice.

R584: Chinese Beyond the Takeout Menu in Splash Spring 2012 (Apr. 01, 2012)
This class will begin to cover the basics of Mandarin Chinese including speaking and writing characters. Next time you order Chinese takeout, the person on the phone will think that you're Asian. When your food arrives, you will be able to master chopsticks like a professional, and sign the bill in characters.
