S1543: Sugar? Yes Please!: Responding to Diabetic Emergencies & More with BCEMS in Splash Fall 2016 (Nov. 13, 2016)
Boston College EMS will teach basic skills on how to respond to common medical emergencies, including diabetic emergencies, allergic reactions, and stroke. In this class, you will have the opportunity to work hands on with EMTs to learn how to properly take a blood pressure and blood glucose. You will also have the chance to give a basic neurological assessment, administer an Epi Pen tester, and more!
