Brief Biographical Sketch:

Francisco Ruela is a Boston College senior majoring in Economics and Mathematics. He has taken numerous graduate level courses in Economics and Finance.

After his sophomore year, Francisco was a research assistant at the Center for Retirement Research. After his Junior Year, he was a summer analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York where he will be returning as a research analyst in summer 2018.

This year, Francisco is writing a senior thesis in economics titled "The Impact of Child Earnings on Retirement Expectations". He is working as a research assistant in the Carroll School of Management focused on corporate finance.
