S380: The Chemistry of Cooking in Splash Fall 2011 (Nov. 13, 2011)
When it boils down to it, cooking is putting basic chemistry and basic biology together to feed ourselves. Cooking and food preparation is an art that has been around as long as people have existed, and like us, has also evolved. Learning why food is made the way it is or what certain ingredients do in a recipe can be fun, interesting, and delicious! Snacks will be provided!
