A1106: Improv 101: Ride the Lightning in Splash Spring 2014 (Apr. 06, 2014)
In this class, we will explore the basic principles of improvisation as well as learn a couple of improv games. We'll talk about "Yes And," as well as how to structure a scene before jumping into actual improvisation, which will take up most of the class. All ages and levels of experience welcome, just come ready to laugh, love, and eat Swedish Fish.

A782: Re-Inventing the Wheel (I thought they said not to do that?!): IMPROV 101 in Splash Spring 2013 (Apr. 07, 2013)
This will be an Improv crash course for beginners of all ages, regardless of prior experience. We will explain some basic Improv theory that the members of My Mother's Fleabag have learned for years. We will conduct fun and energetic warm-up exercises, teach our students "focusing" techniques, and help them with different variations of Improv comedy. In addition to this everyone will have a chance to perform. Our hope is that we can inspire our students to pursue Improv comedy in some capacity.

A783: Burning Bridges(WAIT! I thought we weren't supposed to do that either?!): Improv 201 in Splash Spring 2013 (Apr. 07, 2013)
This will be a more advanced foray into the craft of Improv comedy. We will explore both long and short-form Improv. While previous experience is not required, it is heavily recommended. The nature of this seminar is to provide a distinct improvement in comedic style and technique. For these reasons we would like to work with a smaller group.

R313: What'd the Five Fingers Say to the Face?: A Discussion on The Chappelle Show and Race in Splash Fall 2011 (Nov. 13, 2011)
Using Clips from "The Chappelle Show," This class will aim to have an honest discussion on whether the show aims to create honest dialogue between people of different races or simply play off viewer's prejudices.
