I'm 21, come from Miami, FL, and love running, healthy eating, ecojustice, the life of the mind etc. A true hipster, before hipster was a fashion statement.

X652: Vegan Cooking: Health Made Easy in Splash Fall 2012 (Nov. 04, 2012)
Eating a vegan diet (without animal products such as any meat, eggs and milk) has many health benefits. Among them are: lower cholesterol, lower blood pressure, and disease prevention. Eating vegan is also better for the environment and is part of a more sustainable lifestyle. In this class, we will be cooking a vegan main meal (Quinoa and Black Beans) and a vegan dessert (Tangy Poppy Seed Fruit Salad). Afterwards, this will be accompanied by a short slideshow with more info on vegan eating. Come for the food! Change for the principles.

Spirituality can be practiced in different ways, not just by going to mass. Meditation can be a form of spirituality. We will practice a form of meditation called the Daily Examen focused on prayerful reflection.
