W2248: The Science Behind Volcanoes in Splash Fall 2023 (Nov. 19, 2023)
This course will be taught by Ally Nohmy. Have you wondered why some volcanoes erupt and some don't? For this class we will be exploring the science behind eruptions.

W2249: What is Creativity? in Splash Fall 2023 (Nov. 19, 2023)
This course will be taught by Charlie Schulz. One of the greatest tools you have in this life is your imagination. It is infinite, it allows you to create things you enjoy, solve difficult problems, have a sense of humor, and much more. It is often overlooked and rarely nurtured, so in this class we will attempt to exercise our creative capacity in multiple brief ways. Among other activities, each student will write a 30 word story (or near 30), create an original drawing, and write a poem. The hope is that by exploring multiple avenues, each student finds something they enjoy. I look forward to hearing ideas, and discussing what creativity means to you!
