This course is taught by Rongwei Zhu. From 1964 to 1975, the United States found itself engaged in a long and costly war of attrition in the jungles of Southeast Asia. Having lost over 58,220 troops and spent over $176 billion on weapons and supplies, America was ultimately defeated. The Vietnam War, known to many as America's first and only humiliating defeat, went down in history as an infamous war of fire bombings, massacres, and defections. But was America bound to lose from the start? In this course, we take a brief look at the history of the Vietnam War and ask what YOU would do as President of the United States during this tumultuous decade.

This course will be taught by Vincent Sablich. I will talk about my study abroad experience in Nepal and teach the kids about Sherpa Buddhism, which believes in deities and spirits amid the Himalayas- one being the Yeti. I will present the material in a way to show that our Westernized thought is not always aligned with Eastern thought, inspiring the kids to travel the world and find their passions.

This course will be taught by Ally Nohmy. Have you ever wondered how Criminal Minds or CSI worked in real life? Me too! In this class we will identify suspects based on handwriting analysis, fingerprints, and much more.

This course will be taught by Sebastian Pas. Introduction to everything about Poland, including some basics about the language, the history, the best places to see, and anything else you can imagine. We'll start off by tasting some Polish pierogi that will hopefully set the mood for the rest of the class!

Negotiations occur in every aspect of our lives. From the most mundane discussion to life-changing situations the ability to negotiate is crucial. In this class, we will go over the basic negotiation scenarios and strategies for navigating complex negotiations. We will go over a couple of case studies and at the end do a sample negotiation.

This course is taught by BC EMS. Do you want to learn how to save a life? This class is a basic first aid overview taught by BC EMS members. We will teach some skills such as what to do in an emergency, how to stop the bleed, CPR overview, and many other useful skills!

This course will be taught by Jackson Trout. In this course we will go over the basics of chess and basic strategy.

This course is taught by Ahura Shadfar. This course will explore the history of Naval Aviation by examining the evolution of planes and aviation system.

This course will be taught by Zach Weston. In this course, we will look at how we might define a game, what it means to play a game, and what benefit we get from playing games. We will then consider some popular games and how they fit into this as well as edge cases which may, or may not, be games.

This course is taught by Austin Ginocchio. As these young students begin to enter adult life it can be easy to fall into a culture of pressure and purpose. This class is to take a breathe of fresh air from that life style and to dig deep into finding personal fulfillment in everyday life and better understand what it takes to love everyday and cherish every moment.

This course will be taught by BC EMS. Have you ever wondered what its like to be an EMT? BCEMS will be teaching a class on what it's like to be both and EMT and a student at Boston College. This class is an inside look on what BCEMS does around campus and what being an EMT is like.

This course will be taught by Charlie Schulz. One of the greatest tools you have in this life is your imagination. It is infinite, it allows you to create things you enjoy, solve difficult problems, have a sense of humor, and much more. It is often overlooked and rarely nurtured, so in this class we will attempt to exercise our creative capacity in multiple brief ways. Among other activities, each student will write a 30 word story (or near 30), create an original drawing, and write a poem. The hope is that by exploring multiple avenues, each student finds something they enjoy. I look forward to hearing ideas, and discussing what creativity means to you!
