In this class we will talk about the Greek gods and goddesses and their complicated relationships, messy history, and interpersonal drama! From being on opposite sides of the Trojan war, to wrecking Odysseus' ship then saving him, there is a ton to talk about and explore in their complicated world!
H2102: How to Win a War 101 in BC Splash Fall 2021 (Nov. 14, 2021)
We will look at some of the most famous battles in world history and consider what factors lead to victory or defeat, and how these factors trend across time. With this information, we will eventually determine how you can win a war!

H2062: The Forgotten Invasion of Russia in BC_Splash BC Splash Spring 2021 (Mar. 28, 2021)
Everyone has heard of the mongol invasion of Russia, the Napoleonic invasion, and of course the German invasions in both world wars, but have you heard of the Swedish invasion? During his reign, Swedish child-king Charles XII invaded Russia and nearly succeeded. In this course, we will take a look at the invasion, where it succeeded and failed, and how Charles XII could have conquered Russia.
R1976: Ethical Inquiries in BC Splash Fall 2020 (Nov. 08, 2020)
In this course, we will look at a few common ethical problems (i.e. the train problem), and we will discuss how we might handle these questions as well as the importance of normative ethics when approaching these challenging questions.
