In this class we will be looking at how high school culture--classes, fashion, clubs, student values, and more--have changed over the last 30 years. We will do this through the lens of popular movies such as The Breakfast Club and Clueless!

Ever wonder why there are some things that boys can talk about but girls must hide? We do. This class will focus on gender inequalities and the constraints that our society imposes on girls’ ability to speak up. Topics may include language, mannerisms, and socially accepted behaviors.
