Difficulty: *
Teachers: Allison Shely

Sometimes the only thing more "out there" than a revolution is the person leading it. This is certainly true of the French Revolution and Maximilien Robespierre, who rose to power in its bloodiest stage. How did the Revolution, which began as a struggle for "Liberty, Equality, and Fraternity", devolve into a "Reign of Terror"?
