Bill Watterson's beloved 90s comic strip about the wild adventures of a 1st Grader, Calvin, and his "imaginary" (?) tiger buddy, Hobbes, explores some of life's biggest questions. What is art? How is one "moral"? Are humans inherently good, or evil? What if God is just a big chicken?! What then??
Join me in taking a second look at this hilarious and thought-provoking strip, as well as the philosophy it references so well. If you read Calvin and Hobbes as a kid, or even if you just think seeing a 6-year-old and a stuffed tiger postulate the meaning of life, this is the class for you! Yukon ho!
