Have you ever wondered how tie dye came to be? Have you ever wondered how to make amazingly awesome tie-dyed items? Yeah I thought so. In this class, you will learn not only some cool patterns, but also a little bit about the creation and commercialization of tie dye. It wasn't just the hippies in the 70s people!

Have you ever wondered how tie-dye came to be? From the ancient world, to the 70s, to today, this course will explore the development of the art form we know today as tie-dye. We will also learn how to make (and make!!!) some awesome tie-dye creations.

Well, we probably won't be able to tell you everything you never knew about physics, but this will be an interactive course involving some surprisingly cool videos and demonstrations. Ellen DeGeneres likes physics; you can too!!

Love color? Love t-shirts? Love a little tiny bit of history? This is the class for you! In this class you will learn some of the basic tie-dying techniques as well as make a tie-dye t-shirt. We will also explore the history of the art of tie-dye through the ages from its conception in Ancient China, to the protests in the 70s, to today!
