Brief Biographical Sketch:

I'm a female, 21-year-old student who loves literature and tv. I'm from Baltimore, MD, from a family of 5 children. At BC, I've been studying English and Education and am enrolled in a full practicum, currently teaching 9th grade English. I love teaching and would like a chance to experience a less formal teaching environment.

In this class, we will examine why comics have been historically under appreciated, where they get their appeal, and how to read them critically. Don't hesitate to sign up because you have not read many comics! This course does not require knowledge of comics, only interest in them.
