Brief Biographical Sketch:

I am a junior at BC, studying marketing and economics, and I love BC Splash! I first came to Splash when I was in high school, and loved it so I have taught every semester that I have been at BC! Currently I am the director of BC Splash, doing all that I can to make this day as fantastic for our students as it was for me!

Have you ever wanted to decorate cakes like you see in a bakery? Come learn how to pipe basic decorations, and decorate your own cake! We'll also chat about what it means to have courage and how to cultivate more of it in our lives.


X2113: The Marshmallow Challenge in BC Splash Fall 2021 (Nov. 14, 2021)
Come build things, learn about incentives, and get creative! It'll be a fun class to learn about teamwork, why being young might be your greatest strength, and how to foster innovation. We will be doing hands-on activities that I would describe if it wouldn't ruin the whole point. So come check it out, I promise, you're not going to want to miss this! (Also, there may be prizes!)


X2094: Is Pasta A Smoothie? in BC_Splash BC Splash Spring 2021 (Mar. 28, 2021)
Do you ever wonder if a hotdog is a sandwich? Join this interactive class where we decide how random objects are defined and then search to connect them with other things! We will look at if a hotdog or hamburger is a sandwich, if pasta is a smoothie, and then use your suggestions to explore more connections. Come and join the fun!

This is a casual seminar style course led by the Splash Leaders to answer all your questions relating to the college admissions process, college life, or just any general question about majors, classes, clubs, etc. Take a break from academic classes and spend some time with the eccentric and knowledgeable Splash Leaders gaining all the valuable information you would need to know to be ready for college!


R1994: The Economics of Friendship! in BC Splash Fall 2020 (Nov. 08, 2020)
Curious to know how to be the best friend you can be, and how to figure out who is worth your energy according to economics? Come talk about utility, debate whether situations are being a good friend or a bad one, and learn a few things about self-worth!

Come learn how to draw mandalas! Whether you've never drawn anything, or your notes are covered with the cutest doodles in the world, or you are Pablo Picasso, this class is for you! We will cover the basics of mandala drawing and some cool designs, and then get creative making our own!
