Brief Biographical Sketch:

I started riding on ambulances at the age of 16 and quickly fell in love with the work. I am now an EMT in the state of Pennsylvania and Volunteer as an EMT for Boston College EMS. I am the CPR Coordinator for BC EMS and absolutely love teaching CPR. These classes are probably one of the things I will miss the most when I graduate in May.

S1302: AHA Heartsaver CPR for Certification in Splash Spring 2015 (Mar. 29, 2015)
During this two hour course you will have a blast learning American Heart Association Heartsaver CPR. You will learn what to do in the event of cardiac arrest or choking as well as how to operate an AED. This class will be taught by EMT members of Boston College EMS. This class has been practiced in the allotted time limit ensuring the you will obtain an official certification at the end of the two hours.


S1192: Pediatric Focused First Aid and CPR in Splash Fall 2014 (Nov. 16, 2014)
In this course designed by the American Heart Association (AHA), students will learn basic First Aid and CPR with a focus on pediatric patients (Students will learn adult CPR and First Aid too). Because this class is focused on pediatric patients, it is great for anyone with young siblings, camp counselors, child care workers, those interested in babysitting, and more. The course itself is free, but if students wish to obtain the actual certification card from the AHA, they need only submit a $20 payment. The certification is good for two years. The class will be taught by Boston College Eagle EMS EMTs.
